About Us
Banded Efforts got its start in a small, rural county where local volunteers work hard to make progress a reality and improve everyday life. Despite their efforts, however, their supporting organizations are barely surviving and they have lost their sense of community.
We recognized that the online "connected" world has created a rift in how connected we all are to our actual neighbors. Our daily focus has been stretched globally and our interests can now all be found from behind a screen. This has left local organizations relying almost entirely on support from small groups of dedicated, veteran members, with little hope of recruiting the youth to carry the torch. These issues are what Banded Efforts comes in to solve.
Our entire purpose is to revive that lost sense of community and to unify your county without sacrificing individual interests. We've done this by utilizing an online framework for sharing goals and taking turns creating progress; all from the comfort of your own home. The online world isn't going anywhere, but we want to use it to bring us closer rather than separate us further. Everyone benefits when we band our efforts together, stay truly connected, and show support for those closest to us. After all, that's what community is all about.
